Day 1 Exploring Madurai – Temples and History Morning: Arrival in Madurai

Arrive in Madurai, known as the “Temple City.” Check into your hotel and freshen up for the day.

Start your day in Madurai with morning prayers at Meenakshi Amman Temple, a majestic temple with towering gopurams. After a traditional South Indian breakfast, visit the Thiruparankundram Subramaniya Swami Temple, an ancient rock-cut shrine. Take a scenic drive to Pazh mudircholai and Solaimalai Murugan Temple, followed by the Kallazhagar Temple. After lunch , explore the grand Thirumalai Naicker Palace and Koodal Azhagar Temple. End the day with a visit to Yannaimalai and Teppakulam Lake.
